* 1:00PM~2:00PM: Luncheon
* 3:00PM~6:00PM: Ph.D. Colloquium Presentation
* 6:00PM~7:30PM: Ph.D. Poster Session
Poster preparation guidelines
You will have a 4 feet high and 8 feet wide bulletin board
available to you. We recommend that you use approximately
4 feet X 6 feet of space for your project display. There is
no requirement that you fill the board. There is also no requirement
that you print a "real" poster - printed PowerPoint
slides are perfectly acceptable. Your poster should cover
the main points of your work and be as self-explanatory as
possible. You can set up your posters at 2:00PM~3:00PM before
the Ph.D. Colloquium on Sunday.
Best Ph.D. Student
Paper Awards at WSC 2007
The Ph.D. Colloquium at the 2007 WSC solicits
applications for the I-Sim/ACM-SIGSIM Best Student Paper awards.
There will be two winners: best computer science-focused paper,
and best OR/MS-focused paper. Each award will be for $200.
In order to be qualified for the awards, you must participate
in the Ph.D. colloquium (if chosen as a finalist) and present
your work. Because of the limited number of sole-author student
papers, co-authorship is allowed, but the student must be
the primary co-author (first author). For more information
